Unwind With These 3 Amazing Dog Podcasts!

We all know just how much joy dogs can bring into our lives but, of course, they have to sleep sometimes but just because your pampered pooch is having a well-earned snooze doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in your favourite topic at the same time.

Thanks to technology, we’re seriously spoiled for choice when it comes to dog-related content and if you’re looking for a new avenue to explore, what about the wonderful world of podcasts?

For a spot of light entertainment this evening, here are three amazing dog podcasts that are sure to bring a bright smile to your face… and keep it there. Enjoy!

DogCast Radio

This is a long-running podcast, which is great because it means there are over 200 episodes to listen to, covering absolutely everything to do with dogs! Different dog breeds are profiled, as well as interviews with dog owners and breeders alike, plus lots of training tips and content for younger listeners to enjoy.

Controlled Aggression

It’s always incredibly impressive to see how well trained police dogs are and if you want to know more about how the force goes about achieving this, then the Controlled Aggression podcast – run by police dog trainer Jerry Bradshaw – could be the one for you.

Topics include holding standards of behaviour, operant training, control commands, patrol scenarios and lots more. It’s sure to be quite an eye-opening series, that’s for sure.

We Don’t Deserve Dogs

It’s true, we really don’t deserve dogs! But this podcast series is sure to make you even more thankful than you already are that we have them in our lives.

This show features interviews with comedians and celebrities telling all about their pets, as well as including vet advice and answers to all sorts of dog-related questions… so it promises to be both funny and informative, all at the same time.
